Fellow Flight Attendants,
In the recent months, our AFA EAP/Pro-Standards committee has been receiving numerous calls regarding harrassing comments to other members on Facebook. We understand that our company is going through tremendous changes and we have a lot of activity within our AFA union group. We are doing our best to address these issues as soon as they come to us. We never recommend reporting each other to management.
If you feel any comment made directly towards you or someone else is offensive, Facebook will remove comments, if you report it to them. Since we don't have the control to censor, we urge you to report it directly to Facebook. We ask that all of you treat one another with respect and kindness and if you have the urge to write something, please take your emotions out of it and think about what you are posting before you send it.
If you need to speak to any of us, we are here for all of you!
Thanks and fly safe!

How to Report Violations
We remove things that don't follow the Facebook Terms (ex: nudity, bullying, graphic violence, spam). If you come across something on Facebook that doesn't follow the Facebook Terms, use the report link near the post or photo to submit a report.
Other tools for addressing abuse
It's possible that you might see something you don't like on Facebook that doesn't actually violate the Facebook Terms. If you come across something you'd rather not see, you can:
-
-
Send a message to the person responsible for posting whatever is bothering you and ask them to take it down
